OK, luck has us spending a day skiing there on the way to heli-skiing.
Any recommendations on nearby lodging? Powder lists Mary's Hotel
(Golden?) - any opinions? Any must see's? Must do's? Peeler bar(s)?

And, of course, I expect locals to spill all secret stash info here, too
(yah right).

Golden has nothing to do, its a small family town. Some small hotels there,
clean and not too shabby.
