Kicking Horse Banff combo

I'm considering a CAN-SKI package vacation that includes 6 days of
skiing/lodging divided between Kicking Horse and Banff. It includes
rental car and lift tix also. Sampling both resorts sounds exciting,
any advice as to must ski piste/off piste runs appreciated. I'm a
diamond+ level telemark skier. Would also be interested in local
guides if anyone has any recommendations. A day of guided off piste
skiing would be high on my list of priorities. According to the KH
web site there are two heli ski operations in the local village. Does
anyone have any experience with these folks. I've never heli skied,
but have thought about trying it. I may if the price is right. I
would guess Banff has similar heli and guide operations?

Finally, any recommendations for lunch or supper would be a big help.
Are there any local attractions/ museums that are interesting to
visit? I enjoy the Banff Film fest most years and look forward to
checking that out.

There's off piste at Sunshine and KH, but you better be able to handle
extreme skiing. At Sunshine a beacon, helmut and avalanche shovel is
required equipment before they let you out of the gate...

Can I ask how much you are paying? I am looking to go to Banff area as
