Getting out of flow bindings

I have a pair of '05 Flow bindings and I experience a problem when
trying to remove my boot from them. The highback just doesn't want to
stay down low enough once I release it so my heel catches and I
sometimes have to reach down and hold down the highback to remove my
boot. I am using Flow boots also, so there should not be an
incompatability issue. Does anyone have any advice or share this
problem?

I have Flows and love them (Vans Encore boots). I'm by far no expert but I
would say your boots aren't fitting your Flows correctly. Even a too large
Flow boot would not fit a too small Flow binding. List your boot size and
the size of your Flows and I'm sure some of the experts here would be able
to give you some ideas. In the meantime, have you tried moving the highback
out at the bottom to another mounting hole?

Are they 'pinging' back up as you try and take your boot out? If so
tighten the bolts that the hibackpivots on, then the highback will stay
down while you take your foot out.

I'm also a big Flow fan by the way - I can't imagine using any other
binding now.

I just moved up to AMP 5 Flows. Last year I had their bottom end ones.
My new ones are doing this. I push them down to get out and have to hold
them down or shwinggg, up they go. I'll try tightening those bolts.
Thanks for the tip.

The cables seem to lose a bit of spring over time, lessening the effect. Or
at least they appear to be doing so on my CFRs.
