Good Powder Mid-Late March?

Where is the best place to go Mid-Late March for a newbie to powder
skiing? Is any place likely going to have powder or is that just a crap
shoot?

For Colorado places like Wolf Creek and Monarch have a decent chance of
powder but it can be heavy that time of year. I've had some incredible
days in the spring every so often. If you can afford it some cat skiing
might be the ticket. With a good guide unless it's been really warm they
can find you something.

Probably hit or miss anywhere. Some places more miss than others.

It's a crap shoot.

But here (Utah) is as good a bet as any.

It really is a crap shoot that late in the year. Your best bet would be to
wait until very close to time to pick a destination. Kind of hard to plan
that way, but the best chance of powder.
