question 4 list. will pilot boots fit well in solomon profil bindings?
 

hello. i bought some skating skis with solomon profil bindings.
need boots.
according to this website the pilots will work well with the profil
bindings
(not the other way though which is fine with me).

sorry - more info - my bindings are salomon profil skate and classic
bindings
with manual linkage.

Pilots will work. I have Salomon Pilot boots and use them with both
Pilot and Profil skate bindings. I seem to remember, though, a note
that Pilot boots will not fit on to older Profil bindings - perhaps
someone else has more exact info about that.

newer profil bindings have a bigger
slot for the rear pin on the pilot boots than my bindings. wondering if
that would be a problem
for me. finding profil skating boots is a hassle. and i would probably
want boots that won't be obsolete soon.
