The X-SCREAM Series continues to be one of Salomon's top-of-the-line skis as well as one of the best ALL-MOUNTAIN skis available. The POWER SELECT FREE RIDE 8 is one of Tyrolia's top bindings. .. The X-SCREAM Series ski is snappy, carves big arcs and has an energetic wide body for hard snow grip and high performance in crud. It also provides short-turn thrills with all-mountain power. The more energy you give it, the more places you can go. The X-SCREAM Series is strong, beefy and powerful with quick initiation and round turns. It provides significant rebound energy and stunning, lightning-quick performance. The X-SCREAM SERIES is not a faint hearted ski. It needs a strong pilot. But if you are, heavy duty fun. Tyrolia's POWER SELECT FREERIDE 8 binding allows you to dramatically change how the ski meets the snow by instantly altering the arc or camber of the ski. The three positions are Power Neutral where pressure is evenly distributed over the length of the ski; Power Turn which elevates the tip and tail, reducing pressure at the extremities; and Power Grip which actively accentuates the ski's camber line, increasing pressure at tip and tail. The binding's Free Flex feature allows the ski to flex easily throughout the length of the ski, thus eliminating the dead spot under your boots. These features clearly enhance the all-mountain performance and versatility of the X-SCREAM Series ski. |
