Sierra Club GPS Nav Course Dec 3 in Los Angeles
Hi all - If you're in the Los Angeles area and you've never used a GPS, or if you want to get better at using one of the little buggers, the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter Leadership Training Committee's Nav gurus and Examiners are again presenting just the class for you: Dec 3 Sun LTC, Hundred Peaks O: GPS Class: Intro to Global Positioning Systems at Eaton Cyn Nature Center. No registration at door; apply early. Includes GPS theory, features, operation, use with maps, field practice following lecture. Bring a GPS if you hve one, but we have loaners. Send sase, phones, email, what GPS you have and any experience, with $15 (LTC-no refund 5 days prior) to Ldr: Harry Freimanis.
