Conditions in Whistler
 

Hi All,

I skiied Whistler in 02 & 03, but went to Banff this year as I couldn't
get the hotel I wanted in Whistler.

But looking at the webcams, Whistler village looks terrible - can you
even ski down to the village?

Would love to here what the conditions are really like from anyone who
has been recently.

It is quite normal for the lower parts of Whistler to be unskiable, while
the snow up higher is excellent. Remember, unlike Banff, the base elevation
of Whistler is lower and also situated on a coastal range. Don't let the
lack of snow in the village fool you.
