Fall Greetings! The Friend's of Fahnestock & Hudson Highland State Parks Annual
Nordic Ski Swap Fundraiser will take place Sunday, November 7 from 9:30am to 2pm
at the Taconic Outdoor Education Center. Equipment drop is on Saturday from
2-5pm or Sunday 8 to 9:30am. You set a reasonable price by clearly labeling each
item with name, phone, email address and a whole dollar cost. An Equipment Swap
Form will also need to be completed. All potential merchandise (XC Skis, boots,
poles, bindings, snowshoes, roller skis and blades and ski boxes) needs to be in
good shape. We reserve the right not to accept equipment that is not properly
matched or damaged beyond normal wear and tear. Sorry, no three pin binding
systems, wooden snowshoes or downhill equipment will be accepted.

A $1.00 service charge will be collected for each item dropped off to cover the
cost of running the event. If sold, 20% of the sale price is retained by the
Friends group to be used for improving FWP programs. If your item sells, within
ten days a check, less 20% of sale price, will be mailed to your home. Unsold
items need to be picked up the day of the event between 2-3pm. Any unclaimed
goods will become property of FWP.

FWP's award winning chili will be available along with snacks, hot and cold
drinks.
