Foret Montmorency is part of Laval University and is next to well known Camp
Mercier, about one hour drive north of Quebec City. Look at the present map

First-hand report (I skied Saturday and Sunday while Bob was
refinishing his porch or whatever):

Auburn - most is groomed, but the Bombadier is busted. Should be
fixed in next couple of days. Until then, plan on picking snow fleas
out of your klister.

Gorge - Van Norden open, great cover, didn't venture beyond Telegraph
and up into the trees a little. Big John there himself at the
trailhead to collect your $15 bill for the trail pass.
