It might be more active if people talked more about skiing...

Mountain High (near Wrightwood with a nice view from the top of the
Mojave Desert) claimed to have received perhaps half an inch of snow a
while back. They even posted photos. Nothing at Big Bear. Call me
suspicious...

I have "new" ski boots, which will, of course, make all the difference
in my skiing. Top-of-the-line stuff, FIFTEEN DOLLARS!
