Burton Board and Ride Bindings

Hello I recently bought a Burton board and a set of ride bindings but when
mounting I noticed I can only get 3 screws through the center piece into the
deck where on my other board I could get all four, is this normal as Burton
hole positions are a little bit different, and 3 screws per binding is that
OK ?

Or does one use Burton bindings with Burton boards which sounds kind of
strange ??

Thank you !

Yep mate,

Burton uses the 3D system (3 screws) while the others uses the 4x4 system
(4 screws).
I switch my (Burton 3D) binding regular between my Burton board and my
Duotone Board (4x4) no problem at all....

Note that some disk are compatible with one or the other than you need other
disks.

AFAIK it is even patented by uncle Burton.....
They thought (probably) to sell more boards and bindings together when
deviate from the 4x4 principle.

Please correct me when wrong, the 4x4 idea came from F2.

Keep on riding,
André
