Salomon X Wing Skis
Anyone know anything about these? I hired some recently and they were great. I'm now trying to track down a supplier, but they aren't even mentioned on Salomon's own website. Cant find any suppliers for them, and the only place I've seen them was in the hire shop but they didnj't have my sizr for sale. Help please - I must get a pair of these incredible skis!! |

X-WING? Never heard of such a thing. Might you mean X-Scream? Even there, you would need to know the flavor. This "name" has been around for a lot of years now and not always on the same skis. I have, for instance, a pair of "X-Scream P" no vibration dampener. Nothing extra, just a lovely ski. I also have a pair of "'Scream 1080's" which are early twin-tip skis. IIRC, the earliest X-Screams came with the silly putty vibration dampers on tip and tail. I haven't seen these lately but I have seen many "Pilot" versions with integral bindings. And I could go on. If you aren't convinced, Google on "Salomon x-wing" and see what you get. There are several forums which have user reviews of various skis available. If you don't find your ski here, I'll bet it doesn't exist and you should start looking at X-Screams. |

No, I mean definately X Wing. They were X Wing 08's.
I've had a pair of X Scream ski's for around 5 years. I think maybe the X Wing could be the replacement for the X Scream when it is released latest this year. Are these x wings the brand designed for a woman by a woman for that special time? If so maybe we're not talking about skis. Unless you mean X Scream series and then you have to decide which ones. |
