Minturn Mile
 

I was thinking about starting my backcountry experience with the Minturn
Mile out of the west side of Vail, off Game Creek Bowl.

Any one have experince with it? Is it an easy path to follow once you get
into the trees? How long is it, i've hear about 3-4 miles? Any
suggestions.

I will be with someone else that has not backcountry skiied yet either.
