Skiing in Eastern Europe

Kind of surprised nobody has yet discussed skiing in eastern Europe
here.

Been to Bulgaria (Bansko), Serbia (Kopaonik) and Macedonia last year.
Kickass skiing for a bargain price. Most of the resorts (and lifts)
have been refurbished or put up brand new by western companies in the
last few years. Te nature is pristine, the slopes empty and prices a
pure bargain. Slovakia also has some great slopes to offer.

With low cost carriers like SkyEurope and Wizzair flying to these
places pretty much on a daily basis trough their hubs in Bratislava or
Budapest I think it is worth considering.

I sure will go there this year as well.
