Tahoe recommendations Please

Headed to Tahoe in week and a half. Looking for recommendations
please. Advanced boarder looking for good blues; moderate blacks and
glade or tree runs. Was there years ago but don't remember too much.
Appreciate any suggestions. Staying in S. Tahoe but willing to drive.
Thinking about Alpine Meadows, Squaw, Heavenly, Kirkwood.

Thanks in advance. Also any good Restaurants in S. Tahoe?

Think you will find A. Meadows and Kirkwood more to your
liking than Squaw. Never been to Heavenly. Heard it has
lots of flats?

Spent 8 days at Kirkwood over New Year, and loved it.

It does have a few flats and even slight uphill sections after a flat, so
you're going to walk. However it also has some great terrain. Worth
checking out, especially after a dump and the road to Kirkwood is closed,
and the fear of driving up Emerald Bay Road stops you heading North.

if you're looking for an amazing restaurant, check out Burger Lounge.
They have some amazing burgers with nearly every combination of exotic
toppings you can imagine. It's about a mile north on 89 from the 50-89
junction, on the right. Look for a giant coffee mug on the right side,
and that's the place. Enjoy!

If your on the south shore, you can pretty much forget the north shore
unless you feel like driving over an hour? South shore I would definitely
hit Kirkwood and Sierra at Tahoe, both will more then satisfy your needs.
And if your there mid-week, Heavenly can be fun without all the crowds.
Stick to the upper Neveda side for the best runs. Upper California does
have some nice terrain as well so worth checkihng out.

IT does have lots of flats. I think they punish you for trying to get from
the Cali side to the Nevada side and vice versa.

It seems like you are always trying to get somewhere on that mountain.

My recs are Kirkwood and Sierra if you are staying in S lake. Sierra has
some fun terrain, Kirkwood, well just go and see for yourself. : )
